Dear Customers and Friends,

In this month of looking back and honoring the lives lost in the horrific terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, it feels like we still can’t escape the tragedy around us.

Recent school shootings continue to sadden us while sparking endless angry debates over guns. Then, on a day we came together to remember 9-11 last week, the cold-blooded murder of conservative activist Charlie Krik was a shocking reminder of bitter and divisive times.

We won’t begin to offer a political solution to fix our problems. But we can offer words of hope and healing. It all starts with faith.

“Are you left? Are you right? Pointing fingers, taking sides. When are we gonna realize? We all bleed the same. We’re more beautiful when we come together.”

In our humble opinion, it’s time we look to our faith for answers. Without the guidance of Jesus Christ, our nation will continue to face challenges like we’ve witnessed this month. There has been too much sorrow, too many flags flown at half-mast.

Instead of lashing out in anger, we must return to the foundational principles on which our country was established – principles reflected in the spirit of the Constitution and the vision of our prayerful forefathers.

“We all bleed the same. so, tell me why, tell me why we’re divided…Another innocent life is taken in the name of hatred. so hard to take and if we think it’s all good then we’re mistaken.”

“If we’re gonna fight, let’s fight for each other. If we’re gonna shout, let love be the cry. We all bleed the same.”

If you believe music can stir the soul, then take a few minuets to listen to the lyrics from “Bleed the Same,” a song released in 2017 by Christian artists Mandisa, TobyMac, and Kirk Franklin. The spirit and words of this poignant song perfectly sum up our feelings.

We may be different in the way we think, the way we act, and the way we see the world around us. But we all bleed the same, so let’s stand united and pray together.

Blessed to be a Blessing,

“So, Father God, I pray that our families will come together right now and seek Your face. You will forgive our sins and You will heal our incredible land. In the name of the only Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.”
