As we reflect on this journey, we are reminded that success is never achieved alone. We have been truly blessed with an incredible team of professionals whose hard work, integrity, and passion have made Syfan Logistics what it is today. From our carriers and operations teams to our leadership and support staff, each individual plays a vital role in delivering excellence every day.
This year also holds national significance as America celebrates its 250th anniversary. Just as our country reflects on its history, resilience, and progress, we too take pride in the values that have shaped our company- perseverance, innovation, and faith. These shared principles inspire us to continue growing while honoring the legacy that brought us here.

SYFAN SUPPORTS 5K
A Growing Tradition of giving

The 4th Annual Syfan Supports 5K brought team members, family, friends, and members of our community for an evening centered on fitness, fellowship, and giving back.
Held on July 17 at the Midland Greenway in Gainesville, GA, this year’s event welcomed participants of all ages and experience levels. Whether they were running for a personal best, jogging with friends, or enjoying a walk with family, everyone came together with a shared purpose: supporting a meaningful cause.
This year’s beneficiary was My Sister’s Place, an organization dedicated to helping women and single mothers experiencing homelessness build stable, independent futures. Through community, spiritual growth, life-skills development, and housing support, My Sister’s Place provides resources and encouragement to those working toward a brighter future.
The evening was about more than just crossing the finish line. Families enjoyed activities for children, attendees gathered with coworkers and friends, and food trucks kept everyone fueled throughout the event. The incredible turnout served as a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to support others.
Every registration helped advance the mission of My Sister’s Place while making this year’s event one to remember. Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, or cheered from the sidelines. Your generosity and support helped make the 4th Annual Syfan Supports 5K a tremendous success, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.

Summer at Syfan meant welcoming a new group of interns ready to learn, contribute, and gain real-world experience. This year’s intern class joined teams across the organization, bringing fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and a willingness to dive into the fast-paced world of transportation and logistics.
Throughout the summer, our interns had the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, develop valuable skills, and gain firsthand insight into how our business operates. From supporting day-to-day projects to participating in company events and volunteer opportunities, they experienced the teamwork and culture that make Syfan unique.
Investing in the next generation of talent has always been important to us, and we were proud to play a role in these students’ professional journeys. We’re grateful for everything they contributed during their time with us and wish them continued success in whatever comes next.

Team Member Spotlight: Denise Nix
The Heart behind the numbers

For over 33 years, Denise Nix has been an integral part of the Syfan family, helping guide the company’s growth and financial strength through more than three decades of change. Today, as Chief Financial Officer, Denise leads Syfan’s financial strategy and helps build the foundation for the company’s continued success. Her role reaches across nearly every part of the organization. Denise oversees banking relationships, treasury management, financial reporting, risk management, compliance, insurance, and audit functions. She also partners with executive leadership on strategic decisions and helps drive technology and process improvements throughout the company.
Despite the scope of her responsibilities, what Denise values most about Syfan has always been the people. “It’s the people. It feels like family,” she shared. That sense of family was especially meaningful during the Hurricane Helene relief effort, when Syfan helped load more than 40 trucks with emergency supplies for communities in need. Denise was there helping throughout the effort. “I really believed in that,” she shared. “My heart went out to all those people, and I felt so blessed by the incredible turnout we had.”
Outside of Syfan, Denise enjoys spending time at Wahoo Baptist Church, where she also assists with the church’s financial records. Her faith is an important part of her life, and her favorite Bible verse is John 3:16. She is also a proud mother to her three children, Jessi, Levi, and Madi. When Denise learned she had been chosen for this quarter’s Team Member Spotlight, her first reaction was, “Other people deserve to be spotlighted.” That response speaks to the humility she has carried throughout her 33 years at Syfan. While Denise may prefer to work behind the scenes, her impact can be seen throughout the company. Her leadership, financial expertise, and dedication have helped Syfan grow while maintaining the strong foundation needed for the future. We are incredibly thankful for all Denise has contributed to the Syfan family and are proud to shine the spotlight on her this quarter.
Division Spotlight: rodney lamb & the ltl team
Rodney Lamb, LTL Director
At the heart of Syfan Logistics’ trusted Auto Parts service is Tony Cash and his dedicated team. From engines and transmissions to nuts, bolts, and even refrigerated materials, Tony oversees every detail—coordinating with account managers, support staff, and drivers to ensure shipments run smoothly. Leveraging tools like MacroPoint, Trucker Tools, and TextLocate, the team keeps customers informed in real time while remaining accessible 24/7, even on holidays, to resolve any issues that arise.
What sets the Auto Parts division apart is scalability and reliability.
From tripling capacity for a major manufacturer without service disruption to adjusting operations during quieter periods, they deliver flexibility that customers rely on. This commitment to excellence and accessibility has earned recognition like the Supplier of the Year award, a testament to years of hard work and the strength of Syfan’s customer-first approach.

At Syfan, we are always looking for ways to work smarter and provide our team members with the tools they need to succeed. One technology helping us do just that is Power BI, a business intelligence platform that transforms complex data into easy-to-understand dashboards and reports.
Power BI brings information from multiple systems into one centralized location, allowing team members and leaders to quickly access important insights without sorting through spreadsheets or multiple applications. This streamlined approach helps improve visibility, supports faster decision-making, and allows teams to focus on serving customers more effectively.
Several Power BI dashboards are used throughout the company, including the Performance Dashboard, Personal Dashboard, and Abnormal Load Report. These tools help users track key metrics, identify trends, and spot opportunities for improvement across operations.
As we continue to invest in technology and innovation, tools like Power BI play an important role in improving efficiency, enhancing communication, and supporting operational excellence across Syfan.
