The Spirit of Fear – Part 2

In an earlier Faith Over Fear segment, we featured part of a devotional by pastor Vance K. Jackson in “God Has Not Given You the Spirit of Fear.”
In this segment, we are challenged to choose between faith or fear. It can be a difficult crossroad, but I trust you know the right way.

‘Don’t Shrink’ Your Potential
God did not build you to be timid. You are not a coward. He placed His spirit in you to be powerful, courageous, dynamic and full of faith. It takes faith to obey God.
When you are full of fear, your decisions and actions are double-minded and unstable. James 1:8 states that “a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
Fear cannot lead your path. It will paralyze your destiny. Fear will cause you to shrink and dumb down the vision that God has given you. Don’t shrink. Make a decision to seek God and live out what He says about you daily.
You choose – faith or fear. You can’t function in both realms. Let God lead your path and break the cycle of fear.
