The Spirit of Fear – Part 1
Dear Customers and Friends:
This year has brought so much turmoil into our lives. It started with the pandemic and then the heart-wrenching death of George Floyd that led to street protests and uncomfortable conversations about race relations. So too has our nation been divided over the rhetoric of the upcoming national elections.
It’s enough to keep anyone up at night. But heed the words of pastor Vance K. Jackson in Part 1 of his devotional, “God Has Not Given You the Spirit of Fear.”

The Spirit of Fear
God has not given you the spirit of fear. For we walk by faith and not by sight.
As God’s children, we do not walk in fear; we walk in “power, love and sound mind.” Paul teaches this powerful principle to his son in 2 Timothy 1:7.
God used Paul to set the pattern of faith for Timothy and for the generations that followed after him. This scripture is recorded for our benefit.
Fear will keep you spinning in cycles. Faith will catapult you to the next dimension. Faith will promote you. Faith will expand you. Faith will enlarge your borders. Fear will cause you to downgrade and diminish your destiny.
Fear will cause you to shrink.
