Dear Customers and Friends:
Across the nation and here at home, we have witnessed countless acts of good deeds amidst these hard times. Good deeds are a sign of faith and appreciation for all of God’s blessings. I encourage all of us to reach beyond ourselves, pushing aside our own troubles to help someone who is struggling even more.
In this message, I provide just a few examples of faithful expressions of love. Feel free to share stories with me of other compassionate acts you’ve seen or done yourself since the pandemic entered our lives.

Blessed to be a Blessing,

Greg Syfan,

Demonstrating Faith Over Fear

• Our heroic truck drivers are the Always Responders, delivering food to keep our families fed across the nation.

• On the TV news, we’ve witnessed touching celebrations of appreciation for our brave healthcare workers at hospitals across America and sidewalk chalk tributes to teachers from their grade-school students.

• In Gainesville, Ga., the Gainesville First United Methodist Church is collecting “Buckets of Love” filled with cleaning supplies for families in need, and numerous businesses have come together to help the Georgia Mountain Food Bank provide food to hungry families hit especially hard economically by the pandemic.
